120x120x25mm High Airflow DC Fan DC1225F
Six rated performance grades in a 25mm-deep 120mm frame, from 65.21CFM ventilation to 203.89CFM high-output airflow.
When enclosure space allows a 120×120mm air opening but only 25mm of fan depth, DC1225F offers distinct airflow, pressure and acoustic choices without changing the mounting format. Rated configurations cover 2,000 to 6,300RPM across 12V, 24V and 48V supplies. The 6,300RPM version reaches 203.89CFM free-air flow and 33.63mmH₂O maximum static pressure; these are specification endpoints, not simultaneous installed operating values.
Rated Voltage: 12V / 24V / 48V
Size: 120×120×25mm
Max Airflow: 203.89CFM
Max Static Pressure: 33.63mmH₂O
Max Speed: 6,300RPM
120mm Fan Electrical Ratings and Six Performance Grades
DC1225F is available as 18 defined ordering models, each with its own current rating at 12V, 24V or 48V. All rows specify ball bearings. Compare the selected speed, airflow, pressure and noise values together rather than combining best-case values from different versions.

All 18 ordering models specify ball bearings (B); sleeve-bearing versions are not offered in this series. FG, RD, PWM, auto restart and polarity protection are function options, subject to configuration confirmation.
Construction: glass-fiber-reinforced PBT impeller and housing, UL 94V-0 material rating. Ball-bearing operating temperature: -10°C to +70°C. Insulation resistance: 10MΩ minimum at 500VDC; dielectric test: 5mA maximum leakage at 500VAC, 60Hz for one minute.
High CFM Fan Output Without a Deeper Frame
A larger 120mm air opening makes it possible to distribute cooling across equipment sections while retaining the 25mm frame depth. Four practical strengths matter when specifying a model.
120mm Coverage with 25mm Installation Depth
The frame occupies a 120×120mm face but extends only 25mm into the equipment. This is useful where ventilation area is available but rear clearance is limited; mounting-hole positions, cable exit and protective grille spacing still require checking.
Six Defined Airflow Grades
From 65.21CFM at 2,000RPM to 203.89CFM at 6,300RPM, six separate models let OEM buyers match expected thermal load to noise, current and pressure requirements. The grades are distinct ordered versions, not six speeds guaranteed on one fan.
Pressure Options for Heat Sinks and Outlet Resistance
Higher-output variants offer maximum static pressure up to 33.63mmH₂O. Heat sinks, mesh openings and internal baffles all impose pressure loss, so select against the actual system curve rather than assuming free-air CFM will persist after assembly.
Ball Bearing Construction and Signal Integration
All 18 configurations specify ball bearings, with optional FG, RD and PWM functions for projects that require monitoring or external speed control. The controller protocol, wiring, connector and permissible speed behavior must be agreed for the particular variant.
YCCFAN DC1225F Airflow Selection for Large Equipment Sections
Match the fan to the equipment heat load and acoustic limit before choosing the highest available speed.

A 120mm fan can serve a wider inlet or exhaust opening than the smaller frames used elsewhere in the YCCFAN range. In DC1225F, the decision is not simply whether the fan fits the hole: the 25mm body, air outlet position and system resistance determine whether the selected performance grade can deliver useful flow through the intended components.
For quieter equipment designs, the 2,000RPM version is rated at 33.60dBA and 65.21CFM; the 6,300RPM configuration is rated at 64.46dBA and 203.89CFM. Between them are four intermediate options. Thermal testing should confirm the best point for the enclosure rather than treating maximum CFM as a universal requirement.
Airflow and Static Pressure Curves for Six Rated Speeds
The six P-Q curves provide a more reliable basis for airflow selection than a peak-flow number alone. The rated 203.89CFM free-air endpoint belongs to the 6,300RPM grade, while 33.63mmH₂O is its maximum static-pressure endpoint. Neither value means 203.89CFM is maintained at 33.63mmH₂O resistance. A grille, filter or densely finned heat sink shifts the installed working point along the curve; compare expected pressure drop with the 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,300, 5,800 and 6,300RPM plots, then check rated sound level and supply current for the selected model.

High Volume Ventilation for Power and Industrial Equipment
DC1225F is a candidate for OEM equipment with a compatible 120mm fan opening and a defined heat-removal requirement. Different uses call for different air-path designs; the highest speed is not automatically the best choice.

Industrial Power Supply Ventilation
A power supply fan positioned beside switching devices, transformers and capacitors needs an unobstructed route to the exhaust opening. A DC1225F grade can be selected around the cabinet thermal load and air resistance, with connector and supply voltage matched to the power unit.

Inverter and Energy Conversion Cabinets
Power-conversion electronics can contain multiple heat sinks in one enclosure. The 120mm air face can support a broader ventilation opening, while the chosen pressure curve determines whether sufficient airflow passes the fin stacks and vents.

Automation and Electrical Distribution Panels
Large control panels with terminal blocks and drives need planned intake and exhaust positions to avoid stagnant pockets. The 25mm installation depth can be useful near a panel wall, provided mechanical clearance, guarding and cable management have been checked.

Equipment Exhaust Plenums
Dedicated exhaust compartments can use the six rated variants to balance heat removal with sound requirements. Where duct turns, screens or vents add pressure loss, the free-air airflow rating alone cannot establish the installed result.

OEM Cooling Assemblies and Replacement Projects
For a new assembly or replacement of an existing 120×120×25mm fan, verify mounting-hole geometry, rotation and airflow direction, connector pinout, current capacity and any tachometer or alarm requirement. Physical size alone does not establish electrical compatibility.

See the 25mm frame profile, mounting holes, airflow direction and cable exit during installation. If multiple rated variants are filmed, identify each model and voltage explicitly; visual footage does not replace the airflow-pressure curve or acoustic data.
The recorded demonstration should present the actual installed depth, mounting-hole drawing and connector orientation so that engineers can confirm mechanical and electrical fit before sampling. Contact YCCFAN for sample requests or the latest test footage of the DC1225F series.
120mm Fan Airflow, Noise and OEM Integration FAQs
A: No. The installed airflow depends on inlet and outlet restrictions, heat-sink resistance and the selected fan curve. DC1225F reaches 203.89CFM in the 6,300RPM free-air rating, but the actual operating point must be evaluated against the equipment airflow resistance.
A: Matching nominal dimensions is only the start. Verify mounting tolerances, 25mm clearance, hole geometry, electrical supply, connector pinout, airflow direction, current draw and any speed-feedback or fault-signal requirements.
A: Choose according to the cooling requirement, not the lowest dBA alone. The 2,000RPM grade is rated 65.21CFM and 33.60dBA; the 3,000RPM grade is rated 94.79CFM and 43.96dBA. Confirm equipment temperatures and airflow resistance for the chosen variant.
A: No. These are six separate rated-speed ordering grades across 12V, 24V and 48V versions. PWM may be available as a project option, but the control method and approved speed range must be confirmed for the exact model.
A: Each voltage option is a distinct electrical configuration. Check rated supply, current draw, wiring polarity, controller interface and optional FG, RD or PWM signals. Connector appearance alone cannot confirm compatibility.
A: It may be considered when the airflow path and required operating point are evaluated. Compare the estimated pressure loss with the specific DC1225F P-Q curve; the 33.63mmH₂O maximum static pressure is a zero-flow endpoint of the fastest listed grade, not a guarantee of airflow through every restriction.
