Key Considerations for Power Supplies

When used in power supplies, cooling fans must handle high temperatures, ensure long-term stability, deliver strong airflow in compact spaces, and support smart speed control to keep systems safe and efficient.

  • High Static Pressure

Pushes air through tight vents to keep units cool in crowded spaces.
  • Low Noise Level

Quiet in power bays—no buzz to affect sensors or controls.
  • Balanced Airflow (10–120 CFM)

Delivers right airflow for any power unit—stops hot spots, saves energy.
  • Low-power design (<20W)

Delivers right airflow for any power unit—stops hot spots, saves energy.
  • PWM Speed Control

    Matches load—protects circuits, extends lifespan.

YCCFAN in Action: Reliable Cooling for Continuous UPS Power

In Frankfurt, Germany, a cloud service provider supporting several edge computing clients faced a serious overheating issue in its UPS system. The equipment operated under high load for extended periods, but the original mini cooling fans lacked the airflow and static pressure needed to manage internal heat buildup. As temperatures rose, the system experienced power fluctuations, reduced battery efficiency, and occasional shutdown risks—putting continuous power supply and data integrity at serious risk.

To address the issue, YCCFAN recommended upgrading to its industrial cooling fan solution—model YDD8025X24, a compact yet high-performance DC cooling fan(80×80×25mm). The solution offered three key advantages:

1.High airflow and static pressure (68.39 CFM and 10.78 mmH₂O), ideal for directing air through the densely packed UPS modules.

2.PWM speed control and FG signal output, allowing smart temperature control and real-time fan status monitoring.

3.Dual ball bearing design, built for long-term, 24/7 use in high-load environments.

After three months of continuous use, the results were clear: internal temperature in the UPS cabinet dropped by 15°C, operational noise decreased by 7 dB, and battery efficiency improved by over 6%. Most importantly, the upgraded industrial-grade DC cooling fans maintained stable performance with zero failure, helping the client achieve quieter, cooler, and more efficient UPS operation. The solution was met with strong positive feedback from the technical team.

Tailored Cooling Solutions for Power Supplies

Efficient Server Cooling

Servers run all day and get hot. Our smart DC fans use sensors to change speed based on server load. This cools better, saves power, and cuts noise. By keeping the right temperature, servers run better and last longer.

Industrial Switching Power Supply Cooling Solution

Industrial power supplies face heat and dust. Our DC fans push hot air out fast to keep things cool. This protects parts and helps the power supply run safely and last longer.

Continuous and Stable Power Supply from UPS

UPS systems build heat under heavy load. Without cooling, parts like batteries can wear out fast. Our DC centrifugal fans remove hot air quickly, keeping the UPS cool, safe, and steady when it’s needed most.

Solar Inverter Cooling

Solar inverters face heat, dust, and sun. This raises inside temps and risks damage. Our fans push out hot air fast, keeping the inverter stable and lasting longer in tough weather.
